Botox is a local muscle relaxant adapted from the botulinum toxin type-A and is used in both aesthetic and therapeutic indications. For aesthetic purposes It is used to temporarily relax underlying muscles to reduce unwanted lines and wrinkles to provide a more youthful appearance. Medically it can be used to minimise headaches, reduces excessive sweating and can help to relax jaw muscles for teeth clenching. Yes, we use genuine Botox, which has been safely used for over 20 years in a range of medical and cosmetic applications.
